It’s
a playdate for moms!
Come together with other moms
to realize that you’re not alone and that other moms experience the same
things you do. We’ll celebrate motherhood, learn from and support
each other, and laugh a lot.

What
is MOPS?
MOPS (Mothers of
Preschoolers) is an international organization for all mothers of
preschool-aged children (including pregnant women). At MOPS you can
find:
· authentic
community
· personal
growth
· practical
help
· spiritual
hope
It’s an opportunity to meet
other moms and make the journey of motherhood together
What Do We Do?
At our MOPS group you will
have a chance to socialize with other moms, hear some great teaching,
have discussion time and participate in creative activities.
We understand your unique
needs, challenges and joys in this vital season of early mothering. You
will be welcomed in our MOPS group just as you are!
Is Child Care Provided?
Yes—we provide a
fun, nurturing environment for your kids to play and learn while you
take a well-deserved break! The MOPPETS program for kids & babies is
partly run
by our childcare team, but our MOPS moms will also be helping to
volunteer services to help make MOPS possible for everyone. All
registered MOPS moms will be scheduled to volunteer in the MOPPETS
program for one MOPS meeting each semester. This will help make sure we
have enough childcare workers to keep the MOPPETS program going for the
year & keep our MOPS group affordable for all.
Is There a Fee?
The fee for the 2010-2011 MOPS
year is only the cost of a MOPS International Membership-- click
here for details. There will
be no added membership fees for being a part of the local Green Lake
Country MOPS group this year. Scholarships are available to those in
financial need- just let us know when you register.
How Can I Register?
Moms who did not pre-register
this spring will need a MOPS registration
form & every child or baby in the MOPPETS program will need a new
MOPPETS registration form.
Please print and bring the filled-out forms to the next MOPS event or
mail them to Katie Getz, 315 Oak St., Berlin, WI 54923. Otherwise you
can feel free to try out a MOPS meeting first & then register when you
come back a 2nd time.
