Point on the corner of Route 73 and County K provides activities
such as pool, carpetball, foosball, ping pong, air hockey, pinball, and

Did you know
that it used to be a strip club?
The building had
housed many different restaurants/bars over the years until, in early
2001, an establishment for nude dancing was opened on the site. This
caused quite a stir and generated a fair amount of opposition throughout
the county, all to no avail. Terrace Shores bought the strip club
about a year
later and converted it into a youth and community center.
We
call it "The Turning Point" not only because it is on an intersection,
but because of Isaiah
45:22-- "Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am
God, and there is no other." Our desire is that this building honor the
Lord through providing a safe and positive atmosphere to enjoy clean fun
and friendship with others.
